A: Course Completion is usually achieved when you complete an assessment with a score of 80% or higher. In cases where there is no assessment at the end, the course usually requires you to view 80% to 100% of the pages in the course. However, some browsers may not communicate with Learning Compass, or your internet connection could be interrupted.
Incomplete Course after Passing Assessment.
If your Web-based training course was not marked “Complete” in the system and you scored 80% or higher, you may need to address your browser settings for Compatibility View, or update your Adobe Flash Player and Java so your browser can post the score properly. Links are provided below to check your browser:
Browser Compatibility Check
We have tested the following browsers in the following operating systems. All browsers must have current Adobe Flash Player, current Java and must allow pop-ups from csod.com for courses to open and report the score correctly:
- Windows 7 and 10: Microsoft Internet Explorer (IE) 9, 10 and 11/Edge; Mozilla Firefox 28.0, Apple Safari 5.1.7 and Google Chrome versions 34 and above.
- Preliminary tests with Windows 10 and IE Edge show that IE users may need to use some courses in Compatibility View. The first time you open a course, you will see a pop-up blocker: choose “Always allow” so that you can open any course on the site without further interruption;
- Windows 8: IE10; Firefox 28.0, Safari 5.1.7 and Chrome versions 34 and above.
- Windows 8.1: IE11; Firefox 28.0, Safari 5.1.7 and Chrome versions 34 and above.
- Windows XP: IE8; Firefox 28.0, Safari 5.1.7 and Chrome versions 34 and above.
- Apple Macintosh 10.8 and 10.9: Safari, Firefox and Chrome versions 34 and above.
Incomplete Courses on a Mac
If you use a Mac, when instructed to close a course using the X in the upper right corner of the window, Mac users must use the red dot in the upper left corner of the browser window to close the course and post the score.
